![]() Range of sushi, (I am not the biggest seafood lover and the Mura Roll was delicious!) spring rolls, fried rice, sashimi… our favourites were the chefs special gyoza, Mura roll & mixed yak rice. Mura House - probably our favourite, lots of speciality Asian dishes, which meets all tastebuds. The dining menu is again curated beautifully, with options such as sushi, tacos, steak, ceviches etc, you will want to save room for evening so be careful not to over indulge like we did, we couldn’t believe everything was included within the all inclusive!! In regards to evening. We did visit 2087 again twice for lunchtime, and we loved it. Great choices, all curated and presented beautifully, no corners skipped at pool dining. Lunchtime we mainly ate at the pool, where the sever brings you your food either via the app or ordering from your bed. As a British couple, breakfast abroad can sometimes be slightly dodgy, however, Unico has everything covered, I mean everything! As well as traditional Mexican choices, there are westernised choices such as hash browns, potatoes, eggs your ways etc, as well as a vast choice of fresh fruits, pastries, meats, sweets and more! You will be spoiled for choice for breakfast. I feel like I can write a fair review as we dined at each resteraunt multiple times! For breakfast we did not sway from 2087, were the buffet is. ![]() Food: The food is the standout at Unico, it truly is out of this world. Our go to’s were hibiscus margarita, mojitos, burgers, chicken fingers and tacos! Also the pizzas are great. We are a gay couple, and Paulina made us feel so comfortable and referred to us as “chicos” which we loved, and which is where the inspiration for my painted hat came from! Pauline deserves all the tips in the world, as she works so hard, and made our holiday so much better and memorable! The food and drinks she brought us were impeccable. She was amazing, friendly, so hardworking and made us feel so at home and so relaxed our 10 days we were there. Pools: We spent most of our time at Unico Pool, as 2087 was a bit lively for what we wanted, but Escondia was a little quiet (perfect if you want that thing, plus they both have swim ups!) The stories about reserving beds is a little dramatised IMO, as even at around 9am, we managed to get where we wanted! Any later than that, you may have small issues, but why are you sleeping so late on holiday? The one BIG standout for us at Unico pool and what kept us coming back was our server Paulina. We would opt for a swim up every single time again, it was great to use this after a heavy day of sun at the main pools, to cool down and unwind in privacy. We had aromatherapy in the room almost every night and it was so nice to come back to. There was also a pool cleaner there almost every single day. Room: The room we had (1109) was incredible, it was just as expected but the outdoor patio along with swim up pool with an outlook to the jungle was just amazing to wake up to and come home to every morning/night! The housekeeping kept on top of cleaning every single day, and night for turn down. Faultless! I will categorise the review into points to make it easy. ![]() We had requested Building 1 prior to arrival due to the outlook this building has, we were placed in Building 4 our first night and swiftly moved to Building 1 the next day. From travelling 24 hours from the UK we were greeted with a welcome drink and introduced to the amazing lobby and our friendly host Alberto who sorted all our dinner reservations. Me and my partner just got back from a 10 night stay at Unico, and we loved every second.
